World’s First 3D Printed Snowboard – Video and Pics

Check out this world’s first 3D print of a full sized snowboard made from pieces of carbon based powder and bonding them with resin.With the addition of a few metal support rods, binding attachments and the plastic slabs the finished board is impressive!

The Signal Snowboard’s factory crew use new 3D printer technology to create this snowboard. Dave Lee and Signal Engineer Jeb Ferria input a basic CAD drawing along with a carbon-based powder into a state of the art Plastic Laser Sintering Machine.
