Whistler has officially the most snowfall for November ever with total cumulative snowfall currently at 550cm with 5 days left of November setting the 2009/10 snowboarding season up perfectly and with 2010 Winter Olympics coming to Whistler, it's going to be an amazing season with awesome power days.

Operations staff at Whistler are striving to prepare the pistes for the opening of Creekside and Garbanzo Express this weekend. From Saturday 21st, skiers and snowboarders will have access to Red Chair. Emerald Express, Franz’s and Garbanzo Chair via the Creekside Gondola.
Stephen Butt, Communications Coordinator at Whistler, said “We have already received one third of our average annual snowfall for the entire season and it’s only four days into the season. It’s unbelievable.”
The previous record for November snowfall at Whistler is 416cm, just 50cm more than the current standing. This means in the next 11 days we can expect Whistler to announce record-breaking snowfall for the early season. All the more reason to head across the Atlantic this season.
